Our schedule will be pretty full during the retreat, so we recommend you to arrive in Rio a few days before and/or stay a few days after.

• We strongly encourage you to check Brazil’s visa requirements, depending on your nationality

• Airfare not included. Rio de Janeiro is served by 2 international airports — Tom Jobim International Airport, also known as Rio Galeão (GIG), and Santos Dumont Airport (SDU).

  The venue is 35 minutes drive from GIG airport and 20 minutes from SDU airport.

• Airport Transfer to/from the villa not included. We suggest using the Uber app, very easy, affordable and safe. We will be happy to help you with getting a group transportation with other participants too. A few weeks before the retreat starts we will connect you and the other yoginis with detailed information regarding transport between airport & the location.

• The retreat is confirmed once the minimum number of participants is reached. We will confirm whether the retreat is going ahead with enough notice for you to book your flights comfortably. We recommend waiting for confirmation before purchasing your tickets.

Picture yourself waking up here in this dreamy Rio postcard, hearing tropical birds, watching the lushful landscape and admiring the famous Sugar Loaf, UNESCO World Heritage Site recognised!

Nestled on the hill of Santa Teresa; the charming bohemian and artsy neighbourhood of Rio, with colonials colourful houses and cobblestone streets, often compared by some to Montmartre in Paris, our villa will allow you to rest and find some glowing energy so needed during our winter time in the Northern Hemisphere!

You’ll get to choose between shared or single room. Sharing is a beautiful experience of connecting and bonding with other women. Most of our guest come alone and always leave with meaningful friendships!

You’ll get to experience Water Arts Therapy Workshops inspired by Woga (Water Yoga) and Aguavida/ Janzu (Water Massage).

Water in itself is synonym of creativity, joy, pleasure, fluidity and feminine movement.

WOGA: yoga therapy in the water. Decreases gravity, water allows greater ease of movement, unblocks articulations, lengthens and melts muscles, removes negative tensions, thereby preventing stress, insomnia and anxiety.

Aguavida/ Janzu: An aquatic healing massage for deep and complete physical-mental relaxation through nurturing dancing movement and stretches. It looks like a dance, where the patient lets himself be cradled like a baby floating on the surface. It is through a set of movements that the body deeply relaxes, realigns and re-harmonizes by itself. 

We will step on the mat every day! Our intention is to accompany you into exploring beyond the practice of the poses.

ALL LEVELS WELCOME!

In the Morning, we’ll have a more Dynamic Practice. My signature classes “creative vinyasa” are a fluid dance-like flow where you get to reconnect with your inner essence. I love starting with some grounding movements and breathwork meditation, then gradually, I’ll take you to a more dynamic practice to empower you! All that on an uplifting music!

In the Evening, we’ll have a more Relaxing Practice. Inspired by the gentleness of a Slow Flow fused with some Yin and Restorative Yoga. You’ll receive some Reiki touch and we will end our practice with some Hypnosis Meditation.

Both Morning + Evening Practices will be inspired by the water element.

We will also have some sharing circles, intuitive writing, tarot cards inspiration sessions as part of our yoga rituals

A guided journey to access you subconscious mind.

The aim is first relaxation and then shifting old limiting beliefs for the expansion and growth you deserve.

This practice will be part of our evening ritual.

As a Rio Fan, Myriam will take you in soulful excursions to explore the Real Rio. Including Afro-Brazilian Samba Class, Iemanja Ceremony, Hikes, Beach time & more!

Myriam will you give you all the tips you need for night out, shopping or off off the beaten track travel in Rio + Brazil!

Planted between lush, tropical forest-covered mountains and breathtaking beaches, Rio is for many (including me),

the most beautiful city in the world!

This is probably the best place in the world if you need to uplift your mood… Although “ joie de vivre” is a French word, Cariocas (inhabitants of Rio) welcoming positive energy is quite infectious and you will quickly let go of your winter blues!
